The Alo Main Station is located in Alo Village, Bensa, Sidama — the very farm that put Tamiru Tadesse and Alo Coffee on the map, winning 1st Place at the 2021 Ethiopia Cup of Excellence. Sitting at a remarkable elevation above 2,400 masl, this high-altitude village was historically untouched by coffee farming until Tamiru took the risk of establishing his washing station here. Today, the Main Station works closely with smallholder farmers in the surrounding Bensa woreda, producing clean, expressive lots that capture the floral, fruit-forward clarity that defines Sidama's most celebrated coffees.
